Our smoothies are 100% natural goodness! No high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners. Choose something off the menu or design your own. Any smoothie can be prepared vegan, and we are gluten-free! We also have iced refreshers, fruit & yogurt parfait, and other snacks. All prepared to order!

We're located at 194 South Main Street
The Hangout on Main is a Smoothie Shop & Lounge in the Town of Amherst, VA.
One mom noticed there was nothing to do and no place to go for her middle and high schoolers, other than restaurants. Knowing the need, she decided to do something about it and created the HōM! Now it's not just about kids. People of all ages and all walks of life find a nice place to visit- to chat, take a nap, meet people, or play games. No purchase necessary to use the lounge! The facility can be rented for private parties.
